Well, this one is for sure a not fancy Wolverine. He is the Wolverine! Check out this cool trailer, "The Wolverine: International Trailer".
From the YouTube description:
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
The trailer bears the ominous tag-line: "This year, when he's most vulnerable, he's most dangerous."

Well, Uncle Toh (the old man in the video) is back! Yes, you do recall his fame in "Old Man Gets Sexually Harassed By Sexy Colleagues - Hokkien" with 2,711,754 views since the clip uploaded on 18/11 last year.
His latest video, "Old Man Gets Harassed By Sexy Babes - Hokkien (eng subs)" has him working now as a Retail Assistant at a sports shop which is fine in the beginning, but then his 'crazy boss' transfers him to the swimwear dept. And there he starts finding a very difficult working situation. Heh.
The video has gathered 334,318 views since it's uploaded on 24/01 this year.
Al Jazeera English presents "The Stream: 'Singapore for Singaporeans'?". Hosted by Lisa Fletcher and Anushay Hossain (check out her blog, "ANUSHAY'S POINT"), the almost half-an-hour clip also featured--in alphabetical order--Andrew Loh - Editor-in-chief - publichouse.sg, Gilbert Goh - Singapore protest organizer, Nicholas Fang - nominated MP, Prasenjit Basu - head of Asia Research of Maybank, and Shihan Fang - a co-founder of New Nation.
And the 'Affected' from Singapore:
PS. Considering the clip was uploaded on Mar 12, I'm quite surprised that it has so far gathered only 3,896 views? Pity.

Okay. So I was totally clueless about this 'Mat Yoyo' stuff as it's supposed to be a very hot attraction for the kids?! Referring to this afternoon Kids Fiesta 2013 at AMK Hub (about 1 PM), I thought it would be quite fun an event to be captured. But boy, was I wrong! The host was dull. The 2 characters (were-cats?) namely Yoyo and Yaya were timid.
What's so endearing about the whole thing?! I went home and did some digging in YouTube. Well, the clip, "Mat Yoyo Episode 1 (English)" seems quite fun actually! And the host Kim Wakerman? She too did a great job in the clip! (Well, on a side note, she has a blog too: "With the breathings of my heart" at kimwakerman.blogspot.sg.)
Anyway, here are the 3 photos which I took:
Heh. This is indeed the most heart-warming clip I've seen so far. Check this out, "Touching wedding speech by father of the bride".
Check out this appealing review for the latest graphic novel, "Nemo: Heart of Ice" in this article by Comics Alliance, "'Nemo: Heart of Ice' Is 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen', Streamlined [Review]".
It's 1925, and the Nemo in the title isn't the Captain of previous volumes, but his daughter Janni Dakkar, who has inherited his title, crew, ship and vocation. After robbing sled-enthusiast Charles Foster Kane and Queen Ayesha from Allan Quartermain creator H. Rider Haggard's She (which was, probably not coincidentally, adapted into a silent movie that very same year), Janni decides to take her crew exploring, following an Antarctic route that drove her father mad.
Kane, who didn't take kindly to being robbed, assembles his own League to sic on Janni and her crew, recruiting inventors/adventurers Tom Swift (here spelled "Swyfte"), Jack Wright and Frank Reade Jr. to hound her through her journey. Their travels take Janni and her allies through territory previously described in Edgar Allan Poe's Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, Jules Verne's Antarctic Mystery and H. P. Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness, where they encounter a white giant, a gargantuan hole in the ground, an ice sphinx, a cleverly rendered moment of time displacement, weird giant penguins and Lovecraftian architecture, hieroglyphics and creatures.
Now to think about it there's something incorrect about the previous post about this part: "sloggi said in a statement to the media that it is on a mission to build more awareness on being environmentally-friendly. This is also the reason why they chose Earth Day to hold the Orchard Road event."
See, Earth Day will be on Mon, 22 April. (Just google for 'earth day'.)
Do check out also the Official Earth Day 2013 Video, "The Face of Climate Change".
Okay. That event is surely 'interesting'. Heh. It sure wants to make you want to find out more how sloggi underwears can be environmental-friendly.
However, the website 'sloggi Ecolife' (www.sloggiecolife.com) is apparently still under maintenance, and visitors are redirected to sloggi.asia.
Check out also this clip, "Discover the sloggi Ecolife Video" which it says that sloggi Asia is continuing its commitment to 'Love the World' by teaming with Sensitive® Fabric to create the fun and fashionable Ecolife Collection. Comprising three ranges, the Ecolife Collection will save one-square metre of rainforest for every one metre of fabric used. End quote. Heh.
Underwear clad models stopped traffic at Orchard Road on Saturday in a publicity stunt to promote sloggi's new eco-friendly lingerie collections. From Asiaone, "Underwear models catwalk at Orchard Road in PR stunt".
Dressed in yellow raincoats and little else underneath, ten models transformed the traffic junction in front of Paragon and Takashimaya shopping malls into a makeshift runway.
The leggy models were then joined by 25 other dancers who did a flash dance behind them - this all happened in less than 10 minutes.
sloggi said in a statement to the media that it is on a mission to build more awareness on being environmentally-friendly. This is also the reason why they chose Earth Day to hold the Orchard Road event. It added that it "(wants) to spread the message of importance of being eco-friendly by loving the weather."
On the side, one of sloggi's Weather Girls also held up a sign, requesting for members of the public to hug her to change the weather.
The new 'Love Weather' or 'Weather Girl' collections are made from eco-friendly fibres such as organic cotton and Italian Sensitive Fabric. According to the lingerie maker, for every 1 metre of Sensitive Fabric used, 1 square metre of rainforest saved.

Received the following email from omy.sg Singapore. It's a very interesting sharing session, I'd say. But pity I won't be able to join as the event will be on Wed, 27/03 and yeah, I'd be tied up with my other commitment. Heh. I do wonder, though, whether there will be a recorded clip about this Forum which will make its way to YouTube? Wouldn't it be nice, huh?
(Note to self: should have just emailed Omy Janet & see what her reply will be.)

So you think the clip, "Cartier - Destinée" is sweet? Think again. In the 7-minute love story, Michelle Chen is paired with French-British actor, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who plays a man who meets his ex-girlfriend (played by Michelle Chen) at a mutual friend's wedding set against a beautiful Parisian garden. Seeing her again after 5 years, it suddenly dawns on him that she is 'The One'. He then runs off to purchase a diamond ring from Cartier and proposes to her. (Source: Diva Asia)
Ridiculous. What's wrong with the above scenario? First, it is about the sudden 'enlightenment' that she is 'The One' after, yes, 5 years?! Second, it's about how he can run off to purchase a diamond ring from Cartier, without any sweat, and proposes to her, without losing his breath after all those running?! C'mon, don't tell me Cartier is like a 7-Eleven shop which can be found easily round the corner.

Yeah, that ought to be the quote of the day: "The Singapore Government has a China Wall". What on earth does that even mean? So the Great Wall of China is now a commodity, huh? Hur hur.
The snapshot below is from the previous post about Inside Malaysia's Shadow State by Global Witness.
Now Chan has described feng shui as the work of the devil after he recently embraced Christianity and changed his name from Tony to Peter, the South China Morning Post reported.
"This is the happiest day in my life. It felt like getting married, and I could tell everyone that I am a Christian," he was quoted as saying by the newspaper, which released a photo of him being baptised this week.
Okay, now I wonder whether many others share the same view of Tony Chan. In the book, "Unmasking Feng Shui: A Christian Perspective" by Catelin Hoove, it is without doubt stressed that Feng Shui is BAD!
Likewise in this website, "Feng Shui EXPOSED! By A.R. Hari":
The Bible clearly condemns Feng Shui, and all other forms of occult witchcraft. Witchcraft is seeking spiritual guidance, power, or information from sources apart from God. There are only 2 sources of spiritual power: God and Satan. Ultimately, there is only one source of power, God, but God has given power to Satan (Luke 4:6). The Word of God forbids anyone from dabbling with the occult powers of darkness.
So do you believe that Feng Shui is really evil? For me, I'd prefer quoting this part of the song, "American Pie" to hint on my stand:
And do you have faith in God above
If the Bible tells you so?

Some time in Feb last year, Universal Pictures has announced that Al Pacino would be the lead villain in "Despicable Me 2". And here are the 2 latest trailers of the movie:

The clip, "16 Types of People at Sentosa" is actually amusing for some. And not for others.
Like this hunterthompsyn who 1 day ago commented that: "foreign talent" parts were pretty racist. To which wahbanana immediately responded: Hi hunterthompsyn, we're sincerely sorry you find the gag offensive. When we came up with the gag we only did so with the intention of getting some laughs and hoped that people wouldn't take the humour to heart as we didn't portray any negative aspects. We now understand that it may not have been in the best taste but we hope you can look past that and understand that we meant no ill will. The Wah!Banana team respects people of all races and cultures, we will ensure this doesn't happen again.

Cool flashmob clip, "'One Day More' Polish Flashmob". Heh. Watch the Polish cast of LES MISÉRABLES perform a flash-mob version of One Day More in Warsaw! Having just released the Original Cast Album in Polish, the entire cast descended on Warsaw's most popular shopping center, Zlote Tarasy (Golden Terraces), located 5 minutes from the Musical Theatre ROMA on April 15th 2011
Oh yeah, the trailer, "Kick-Ass 2 Official Red Band Trailer #1 (2013) - Aaron Taylor-Johnson Movie HD" does look promising! (Yeah, it's a nice excuse to revisit this post, "Kick-Ass is kick-ass!!". Heh.)
The Guardian has recently published an article about this sequel, "Will Kick-Ass 2 stay offbeat as our self-made superheroes polish their act?". I like about this part:
Millar's genius in the comic was to work out that Watchmen creator Alan Moore got it all wrong: if superheroes existed in the real world, they would not be evil geniuses, god-like freaks of nature or rich men channelling their fortunes into heroic deeds – but hapless teenage fanboys desperate to succeed with the opposite sex.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson as David "Dave" Lizewski / Kick-Ass
Chloë Grace Moretz as Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl
