of Derrick Hoh "Forever" inspired by PJ & Duncan "Eternal Love"...

Okay, so apparently the hilarious clip "Dead Girl Seeks Meaningful Relationships" blogged previously was making use the song, "Derrick Hoh 何維健 - Forever" which in turn is 'kind of' the more recent--and definitely upbeat--version of this song, "PJ & Duncan - Eternal Love".

Here's the lyrics of "Forever" by Derrick Hoh:

I take you out tonight, just like the other times
I can't explain it, always feels like our first time
I never thought that I would find a love so fine
I'll lay it all on the line

But love is a two way exchange in the best way
Wanna know if you are feeling the same way I do
Just give me the okay, don't lead me the wrong way
It's time that you realize what we've got

I'll give you my love an eternal love from me to you if you return
A token of love an eternal love from you to me I'll give you my love

Forever and ever and ever (Hey)
Forever till the end of time

I see it in your eyes, it's in the way you smile
That feeling when we kiss still gets me everytime
The writings on the wall, I'm not afraid to fall
I'll lay it all on the line

But love is a two way exchange in the best way
Wanna know if you are feeling the same way I do
Just give me the okay, don't lead me the wrong way
It's time that you realize what we've got

Compare that to the 'original' song, "Eternal Love" by PJ & Duncan, and you'd realize the only similarity in the lyrics is in the chorus part: "I'll give you my love an eternal love from me to you if you return / A token of love an eternal love from you to me I'll give you my love".

Can't resist to recycle even the nice chorus line, I guess. Heh.
