Okay. Photos galore alright. And I am at loss at putting the comments for them. All in all, the exclusive behind-the-scenes tour also covered the interesting "Race Control & Administration" room. Heh. The rest will have acronymns like FIA (stands for Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and FOM (stands for Formula One Management). Oh, and you see the one about Parc fermé?
If you're excited about the incoming event of Singapore F1 2013 night race, besides the official website, "2013 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix", you may want to check out regularly this Facebook, "Singapore GP Official Page".
Anyway, here are the exclusive photos taken during the exclusive behind-the-scene tour:
PS. But no, I'm not one of the twenty students. Heh.
A behind-the-scenes Formula 1 (F1) tour was held on Monday for a group of twenty students from two schools. From Channel NewsAsia, "Students get behind-the-scenes tour of S’pore F1 circuit".
There is slightly more than two weeks left before the Singapore F1 race and the publicity machinery is being cranked up into higher gear as organisers try to bring the race closer to Singaporeans.
The tour is just one of the initiatives under the Rev Up Singapore! campaign where selected students and members of the public get a peek at what goes into setting up the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
The tour included a first-hand look into the paddock, team garages and the F1 Village, as well as restricted areas like the race control.
Second Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran joined the students on the tour.
Mr Iswaran said: "We have always emphasised this race is not just about a motor sports event but also a platform to reach out to the broader community to be involved; so that's what makes our race different and special."
